Our mission is to help as many people as possible feel healthier and happier in their skin and we are proudly Vegan Society, Leaping Bunny and Made in Britain approved. Position OverviewDue to continued expansion of the business, we are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Operations Manager to join our team and oversee the day-to-day operations of our fast growing, founder-led skincare brand. The Operations Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of our manufacturing, logistics, supply chain, quality control and trading operations. Reporting directly to our founder, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, exceptional organisational skills, and be a confident problem solver.Key Responsibilities:Oversee our 3rd party fulfilment centre logistics, building a strong relationship with our Account Manager to ensure smooth and efficient operationsDevelop and implement strategies to optimise productivity, reduce costs, and improve overall operational performanceBe the senior point of contact for our supply chain and logistic suppliers, ensuring a strategic and strong partnership to maximise efficiency and minimise problems Be the main point of contact for retail partners and manage the required day-to-day activities as we expand in this areaBe responsible for the weekly and monthly trade report, analysing stock levels and ordering stock in line with supplier lead timesAnalyse and report back to our founder with strategic recommendations across fulfilment, supply chain and tradingWork closely with our founder on NPD, managing the operational processes with our suppliersNegotiate contracts and agreementsLead B-Corp and other accreditation processes when required Key SkillsProven experience in operation management roles preferably within beauty, skincare, wellness or consumer goods industriesStrong knowledge of supply chain principles, manufacturing processes, and quality management systemsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to confidently make decisions on your ownExceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teamsDemonstrated track record of driving process improvements and achieving operational excellenceCommitment to quality, integrity, and continuous learning in a dynamic and fast-paced environmentAbility to manage multiple workflowsExceptional organisation and time management PackageCompetitive salary, dependent on experience20 annual leave days, plus bank holidaysInnovative and bustling workplace with access to all Alderley Park facilities – onsite restaurant, café, snack bar, gym and yoga studio (payable), woodland walks, outside eating areas and co-working facilities50% employee discount on productsCompany laptopFree onsite parkingComplimentary tea, coffee and fresh fruit
