Operations Manager Environmental Remediation Solutions Viltra is a specialist in the design, manufacture and supply of engineered solutions for the reliable and effective treatment of aqueous effluent streams from industrial, commercial and residential premises. With a growing portfolio of new products and new technology, and an increasing number of exciting new projects in Ireland and UK with clients who share our passion for the protection of the environment, this opportunity has arisen to lead and develop the operational team based in Newry, Co. Down. We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic individual with a background in the management of technical and manufacturing operational teams who wishes to bring their energy and expertise to shape the delivery structure of a growing sector leading business. Key Responsibilities Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will provide the day to day management of Viltra operations to ensure the safe, efficient and timely execution of all activities, meeting customer expectations and all legal obligations. The key responsibilities of this role will include: to provide the day to day management ofa team of operational department leads toensure all Viltra operations are carried out in a safe, healthy and inclusive environment, and in compliance with all legal obligations to develop the Viltra talent pool to match the needs of the business, as agreed, for current and planned future business activities to ensure all products and bespoke customer projects are delivered safely, on time and to budget, meeting agreed customer expectations and Viltra commitments to ensure that all customers with plants under the supervision of the Viltra Care team receive a best-in-sector customer experience to lead and manage Viltra continuous improvement activities across all business activities to workwith the Managing Director and accounts manager toensure commercial objectives are met to provide regular reports to the Managing Director on the effectiveness of Viltra operational activities REQUIREMENTS The ideal candidate will: have significant experience and a demonstrable track record in the leadership of operational teams in an engineering sector have a technical background with knowledge of the manufacture of engineered products, and the design and build of bespoke plant involving civil works, and mechanical and electrical components be customer focussed, striving to meet agreed customer expectations from the outset have demonstrable experience in the recruitment, nurturing and development of staff to maximise their potential as individuals, and their effectiveness as team players have experience and knowledge in relation to the implementation of formal management systems covering health and safety, environment and quality be legally entitled to work in, and travel throughout, UK and EU Interested applicants should click apply with their CV and covering correspondence.
