Description

  • Production Management: Oversee daily production planning to ensure alignment with customer orders and deadlines.

  • Quality Control: Maintain strict quality standards, addressing any issues promptly and implementing corrective actions where needed.

  • Lean Practices: Lead and drive continuous improvement initiatives, implementing Lean practices to optimise factory efficiency.

  • Team Leadership: Manage and develop a high-performance team, providing training, performance reviews, and clear direction to drive results.

  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Engineering, and Finance teams to ensure seamless communication and operational alignment across the business.

  • Health & Safety: Ensure robust health and safety processes are followed, aiming for zero accidents.

  • Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities for improvement, focusing on eliminating waste and improving productivity.

Profile

  • Leadership Experience: Proven experience managing large teams in fast-paced, high-output environments. Ideal candidates will come from companies with a mass production focus.

  • Lean Expertise: A strong understanding of Lean principles and experience implementing them in a manufacturing setting.

  • Solutions-Focused: A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to make decisions quickly and efficiently.
