Operations Planner / Scheduler - South Yorkshire

Location:Sheffield

Salary:£21,500 - £24,300

Monday - Friday, 08:45 - 17:00

An opportunity has arisen for Operations Planner / Scheduler with 1 year of experience in customer service to join a well-established firm providing crane services and repairs.

In this role you will deliver outstanding customer service following departmental standards and guidelines.

You will be responsible for:

  • Coordinate preventative maintenance and breakdown visits using planning software.
  • Source and allocate appropriate resources such as engineers and equipment.
  • Place and track orders with suppliers and organise dispatch of parts for delivery or collection.
  • Maintain and update customer records.
  • Assist in the contract renewal process.
  • Handle customer queries with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Update software systems and manage job costs.

What we are looking for:

  • Excellent communication skills for various forms of interaction.
  • Capability to resolve customer enquiries efficiently.
  • Initiative and sound commercial decision-making skills.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
