Bristow Holland are looking for an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to manage and support the Oracle Databases, Oracle WebLogic, and Oracle Fusion Middleware services, ensuring their performance, security, and availability across development, test, and live environments.Responsibilities:Administer Oracle Databases, WebLogic, and Fusion Middleware (on-premise and cloud).Build, install, upgrade, migrate, and configure Oracle databases on Windows Server.Collaborate with development teams for efficient database design and issue resolution.Monitor, maintain, upgrade, test, and tune Oracle systems for performance and availability.Manage memory, disk storage, and backup/recovery plans.Apply patches, administer user accounts, and audit database changes.Provide audit evidence and manage Oracle licenses.Produce performance reports and ensure 24x7 system availability.Implement continuous improvements and document processes.Occasionally work outside core hours for maintenance.Qualifications:Essential: Degree in computer science or equivalent experience in Oracle DBA, WebLogic, and Fusion Middleware Server administration.Desirable: Oracle DBA, WebLogic, Fusion Middleware certifications, ITIL 4 Foundation certification.Experience/Knowledge:Strong Oracle DBA experience.WebLogic Server and Fusion Middleware administration.Proficiency with SQL, PL/SQL, and Windows batch scripting.Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control, RMAN, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.Familiarity with database clustering, Oracle licensing, and third-party service delivery.Hands-on troubleshooting and research skills.Skills:Administration of Oracle Database 12c or higher.WebLogic and Fusion Middleware server 12c or higher.Strong SQL/PL/SQL skills and Windows Server administration.Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.Ability to work under pressure, both individually and as part of a team.
