Ornithologist

Neo Environmental, an award-winning planning and environmental consultancy, have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Ornithologist to work on a broad variety of projects, with the main focus on renewables. The ideal candidate will be able to work with a high degree of independence as well as in teams. Duties:Assisting with and leading on Ornithology surveysCollaboration with the wider ecology team and environmental colleaguesComprehensive report writingEcological impact assessments Essential Criteria:Relevant degree in Ecology or similarPrevious environmental consultancy experienceExperience of Ornithology surveysKnowledge of UK and Irish Ecological legislation and regulationsSignificant Report writing experienceExperience of contributing to EIA’sFlexible and willing to travel throughout the UK/IrelandFull driving license and access to own transport Desirable:CIEEM AccreditedKnowledge or experience using ArcGIS or similar
