Out of Hours - FRA Carpenter and Fire Stopper

***THIS IS A ROLE WITH OOH WORK (NIGHTS AND EVENINGS) MAKING UP AROUND 90% OF THE DUTIES***

A leader in the provision of fire protection services is looking for an experienced fire door installer/carpenter and fire stopper to join their team.

You will be working on mainly commercial and industrial projects, carrying out new installations, upgrades and maintenance works too existing doors and frames.

You will also be required to complete fire stopping work such as batt and mastic and be competent in both areas of passive fire protection.

The works will be based across Leicester and the west midlands and will cover multiple areas within.

The successful candidate will have:

• At least three years’ experience working with fire doors


• At least three years’ experience in working with fire stopping


• NVQ or equivalent in carpentry and passive fire


• Experience installing fire doors and frames, full sets and working with fire compartmentation


• Full UK driving license


• 3rd party accreditation/registration under the FIRAS scheme (desired)
