About the RoleBarnoldswick Alternative School is looking for an Outdoor Instructor (HLTA / Mentor / Teacher) to work one-to-one with KS3 and KS4 students, delivering Functional Skills in an alternative provision setting on a boat. This unique role will see you teaching in an outdoor environment, including sessions aboard our narrowboat, helping to engage and inspire young people through practical, hands-on learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities:The provision is a unique and nurturing environment where pupils are encouraged to grow and develop in a setting that values diversity, creativity, and outdoor learning. The school is deeply embedded in the local community, with access to allotments, a farm, and upcoming equine therapy sessions.
