Outdoor Trials Technician

As an Outdoor Trials Technician, you will be working as part of a small team carrying out function testing of company stores at BAEs Hexham facility based in the Ridsdale Gun Range (postcode is NE48 2EZ) You will assist in the development and setting of test arenas and equipment as required to customer specifications. The entirety of the position involves working outside in all weathers, so prior experience of outdoor work is essential
This role is responsible for ensuring allocated tests and trials are competed in a safe manner to the highest quality standards, to customer time and cost constraints; and, proactively driving a strong safety culture
Duties:
Ensure all equipment required for test and trials are maintained to a high standard and suitable for the task
Use of lifting equipment including fork lift trucks
Completion of equipment records.
Setting up, operation and breaking down of test arenas
Providing test data to the Trials Engineer as part of a test report for the customer
Continuous Improvement of the Ridsdale range test facilities and capabilities
