We are recruiting a Packaging Technologist to join our fantastic client's team near Lincoln on a permanent Full-time basis.�

Our client can offer a varied package of benefits along with a competitive salary of �34,000.00 - �40,000.00 depending on experience. In addition they offer role specific non-contractual bonuses.
Working hours for this position will be 8:30am - 5:00pm. 40 hours per week.�
Day to day your duties will be to:
- Create new ideas for products including implementing eco-friendly packaging solutions as well as researching materials format or future technologies.
- Create new designs while meeting product criteria and requirements.�
- Research and study new cost-effectiveness, practical concepts and capture, store all outputs within the lab systems.
- Follow up with production and transit trials as well as labelling legislation.�
- Create reports and process accurate documentation.
- Manage artwork with stakeholders while building successful relationships and foster a positive team culture.�
- Cooperate with other departments effectively towards projects and to deliver company and customer/client targets.
- Make sure all compliance procedures are followed as well as company policies. Including PPE.
- Take part in relevant training courses if needed.�
- Perform additional duties, projects or responsibilities as assigned by management.�
- Maintain a passionate and forward-thinking mindset to meet specific goals.
The company is looking for:
- Previous experience as a Packaging Technologist as well as experience and qualifications within packaging industry; ideally with degree level in packaging engineering, material science or related field.
- Knowledge of manufacturing legislation & HACCP.
- Leadership, decision-making, time management and organisational skills is a must with high attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to work within multiple discipline projects while following applicable regulations, policies and practises.
- Proactive thinker who can build and deliver excellent rapport along working with stakeholders.
- Ambitious and self-motivated individual that is Team orientated, thinks strategically and able to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of computer literacy, Product Data Software and Design Packaging Software.
Due to the location, you will require your own transport - it is not possible to reach the site using public transport.
