Blue Arrow Barnstaple are working on behalf of our client Perrigo based in Wrafton to recruit a team of Packing Operators to work on a flexible basis but ongoing basis. You will be placed on a shift pattern and given an annualised rota meaning you have visibility of your future working days and therefore can plan around this.

\n

What are we looking for?

\n

\n
• Previous experience in a manufacturing setting would be an advantage but is not essential.
\n
• Must be excellent with Timekeeping.
\n
• Good Communication skills are a must.
\n
• Ability to work on your own and as a part of a team.
\n
• Ability to pass a basic Literacy and Numeracy test.
\n

\n

The Role:

\n

\n
• To work within a team to pack and label completed products at the end of the production line.
\n
• Carrying our regular 'in process' checks
\n
• May include general portering duties
\n

\n

Hours & Rota:

\n

\n
• Day and Nights shifts are available - these are either 07:00 - 19:00 or 19:00 - 07:00.
\n
• 50 minutes break given per shift - 30 minute lunch and a further 20 minute break.
\n
• You will be working 3 days and 33.5 hours paid per week.
\n
• Saturdays are a part of the rota - however you will work only 25 per year.
\n
• You will be working only 136 days per year, compared to the average person working 232!
\n

Pay & Benefits:

• Day Shift Pay Rate - £13.43 per hour.
\n
• Night Shift Pay Rate - £15.87 per hour.
\n
• 20 Days holiday per year (the equivalent of 33 on a full-time hours basis).
\n
