Packing/Warehouse Operative
Finedon
Hours - Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm (40hrs)
Salary - �12.00 per hour
Our established client based in Finedon is recruiting a Packing Operative on a permanent basis.
They are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join them to be a key part in the preparation, packaging, and despatch of their eco-friendly refill products. If you are passionate about sustainability and enjoy hands-on work in a collaborative team environment, this could be the perfect role for you!
Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately fill, label, and pack products, including liquids and powders.
  • Prepare, package, and despatch orders with precision.
  • Maintain a clean and organised packing area, ensuring hygiene and safety standards.
  • Assist with workplace organisation, cleaning, and end-of-day tidying.
  • Report any discrepancies or issues to the Line Manager.
  • Work closely with the team to ensure smooth and efficient product despatch.
  • Monitor stock levels of packaging and labels, liaising with the purchasing team as needed.
  • Maintain equipment and tools in proper working condition.
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Ensure all deliveries are packed according to instructions provided by the Fill Project Manager and Production Office.
  • Actively contribute ideas for process improvement.
About you ...
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • A genuine interest in sustainability and the refillable product movement.
  • Excellent communication skills and a can-do attitude.
  • Ability to multitask and handle various tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical fitness, including the ability to lift containers up to 25kg.
  • Good knowledge of Health and Safety (or willingness to learn).
  • High attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean and orderly work area.
  • Forklift license is preferable but not essential.
Requirements:
  • Manual dexterity is essential for filling and packing products.
  • A strong commitment to learning and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work well in a team and take initiative when needed.
