Location: Hybrid (2 days per week in the Newcastle-under-Lyme office)
Salary: Up to �45,000 - �50,000 (DOE)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

We are pleased to be working with a fast-growing eCommerce business that is looking to hire a Paid Media Specialist to join their growing marketing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a data-driven and results-focused professional to play a key role in shaping and executing the company's paid media strategy to drive revenue growth and brand visibility.

As a Paid Media Specialist, you will take ownership of planning, executing, and optimising paid media campaigns across a variety of digital platforms, including Google Ads, Bing, Meta, YouTube, Amazon, and emerging social platforms such as TikTok and Pinterest. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent budget management skills, and a passion for performance marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

Campaign Strategy & Execution:

  • Develop and deliver multi-channel paid media strategies aligned with overall marketing and business objectives.
  • Manage campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Bing, Meta Ads, Amazon, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other emerging channels.
  • Create and implement A/B testing strategies for ad creatives, copy, and landing pages to improve performance and conversion rates.

Optimisation & Performance Analysis:

  • Monitor daily campaign performance and adjust bids, budgets, and targeting to maximise ROI and meet key performance metrics such as ROAS, CPA, and CTR.
  • Continuously test and optimise ads to improve conversion rates and cost-efficiency.
  • Provide regular insights and recommendations to improve performance and drive growth.

Reporting & Insights:

  • Produce weekly and monthly performance reports, providing clear data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • Analyse and present campaign results to key stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of performance, ROI, and future growth opportunities.
  • Support in forecasting and scenario planning to optimise paid media spend.

Collaboration & Co-ordination:

  • Work closely with internal teams, including content, digital acquisition, creative, merchandising, and product teams to deliver cohesive campaigns.
  • Ensure all paid media aligns with the overall marketing strategy and brand messaging.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-channel optimisation to improve overall campaign effectiveness.

Budget Management:

  • Manage and allocate paid media budgets, ensuring efficient spend to maximise return on investment.
  • Continuously monitor budget performance, identifying cost-saving opportunities or increased investment opportunities based on results.

Industry Trends & Development:

  • Stay up to date with the latest trends, platform updates, and new features across paid media platforms.
  • Identify emerging channels and opportunities to expand brand reach and scale revenue growth.
  • Continuously test and introduce new paid media strategies to drive innovation.
Candidate Requirements:
  • 5+ years' experience in managing and optimising paid media campaigns, ideally within an eCommerce, D2C, or consumer-focused environment.
  • Strong hands-on experience with platforms such as Google Ads, Bing Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), YouTube, Amazon Ads, and a good understanding of emerging platforms like TikTok and Pinterest.
  • Highly skilled in campaign management, budget allocation, and ROI analysis.
  • Proven track record of delivering strong revenue growth through paid media strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of Google Analytics (GA4) and A/B testing platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present performance insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience managing six or seven-figure paid media budgets with a clear understanding of ROAS, CPA, and conversion optimisation.
  • Strong project management skills, capable of handling multiple campaigns simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • A data-driven mindset, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and turn insights into actionable improvements.
