This full-time role, starting in January 2025, is perfect for a skilled teacher passionate about guiding Year 5 students (ages 9-10) and helping them achieve their full potential.

SEN experience is a plus, and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required!

About the Role

As a Year 5 Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and thought-provoking lessons to students aged 9-10. You will collaborate closely with colleagues and parents to create a supportive, inclusive environment that helps all pupils, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN), thrive. Your work will be instrumental in fostering a love of learning and supporting students in their academic, social, and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the requirements of the national curriculum.
• Adapt teaching strategies to support a range of learning styles, including those with SEN.
• Create an inclusive and nurturing classroom environment where every student feels valued and motivated to learn.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support for improvement.
• Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and provide positive role modelling.
• Participate in professional development opportunities and school-wide initiatives.

What You’ll Need:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Experience teaching in a primary school setting.
• Experience working with SEN students is desirable.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to engage and motivate students aged 9-10.
• A proactive, adaptable, and positive approach to teaching challenges.
• Availability to start ASAP and work full-time.
