Job Title: Paint Sprayer
Location: Epworth, DN9
Hourly Pay Rate: �12.21 to �14.50 p/h (hourly rate will be dependent on experience), overtime opportunities are available.
Hours: 08:00 to 16:30 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 to 15:30 on Friday.
Contract: Temporary to Permanent (open to negotiation for the right candidate).
Gi Group Recruitment are now seeking to appoint an experienced Paint Sprayer to our modern manufacturing client, based in Epworth, Doncaster. We're looking to speak with motivated & reliable candidates who want to learn new skills and develop with a business who are in a period of growth. Our client are invested in training and development and are open to providing opportunities to both entry level and skilled candidates in this field.
Duties of the Paint Sprayer
* Applying paints, coatings, and finishes to various products whilst following a production schedule.
* Using a keen eye for detail to ensure the highest levels of quality throughout the product life-cycle.
* Helping to plan and organise the sprayshop workload when required.
* Carrying out corrective and preventive action when needed, in collaboration with other departments.
* Reporting any issues with equipment, quality or scheduling to the Sprayshop Supervisor.
* Ensuring maintenance is carried out correctly and on time, to ensure that equipment is clean and safe to use.
* Adhering to and championing health and safety best practice.
* Maintaining sprayshop and paint stores in line with company requirements, ensuring correct stock levels and responsible usage of materials and equipment.
Criteria for the Paint Sprayer
* Previous experience in a sprayshop environment (or desire to work in a quality led, high performing department).
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to monitor quality of own work and others.
* An organised individual who takes pride in their work.
* Knowledge of Health & Safety processes.
* A team player who is happy to contribute ideas and solutions.
