Painter

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Painter and Decorator to join our team on a permanent basis with a reputable maintenance contractor. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality painting and decorating services across a range of residential and commercial properties. You will work on both planned maintenance and reactive repair projects, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing surfaces for painting, including sanding, filling, and priming


• Applying paint, wallpaper, and other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces


• Ensuring work is completed within set timeframes and in line with client specifications


• Maintaining a clean and tidy work environment and adhering to health and safety regulations


• Communicating with clients and supervisors to ensure satisfaction and project requirements are met

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Painter and Decorator, ideally in a maintenance or similar setting


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Strong attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship


• Good knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and safety practices


• Full driving license and own tools preferred
