Pallet Network Transport Planner Required! ** To join one of the UK's leading, Transport, Logistics and Pallet Network distributors.

Due to continued growth my client are looking to further expand their team. As a Pallet Network Transport Planner, you will be responsible for organising the movement of goods, ensuring timed deliveries throughout the designated postcode area are met and providing excellent customer service.

* Alternate Shifts (6am-3pm / 10am-7pm)

Responsibilities

* Monitor all delivery run

* Managing and updating transport schedules and diary

* Regular liaison with the larger team to ensure operations are carried out correctly.

* Ensuring compliance of SOP's

* Ensure that drivers abide with all regulations, i.e. tachographs, defects, etc.

* Liaison with workshop to support maintenance schedule

* To cover for other areas as required

* To enter data from customers onto IT systems

* Booking in deliveries and collections

* Ensuring that all drivers have all the necessary paperwork and information to carry out their duties

* Keep up to date with legislation

Requirements

* Pallet Network planning experience (Essential)

* FLT License (Desirable)

* Willing to work the alternate shifts provided

* Excellent written and verbal communication
