All trainees were past paralegals at the firm and all future trainees are current paralegals. The Department The funds department are top tier and a number of the team are highly ranked in Chambers and the Legal 500. You will join a number of paralegals in the department and sit with the associates so are really integrated with the team. The Role The paralegal role is varied and will include the usual paralegal duties as well as tasks more akin to a trainee. These may include: Setting up and managing trackers Reviewing subscription documents Reviewing prospectuses Data room management Preparing transaction bibles Liaising with I Document management Conducting due diligence Legal research The Requirements Excellent academics are essential and ideally you will have completed the LPC with relevant corporate electives. As you will need to hit the ground running, funds paralegal experience is required, but they are flexible to what type of firm this has been at (US or City).
