Paralegal

Paralegal- London- 35 hours a week - 3 months - Immediate Start

Yolk Recruitment Public Sector and Not-for-Profit is proud to be working with a trade union with a membership of over half a million nurses, midwives, nursing support workers and students, to help appoint a Paralegal

Key Responsibilities:

What the Paralegal will be doing:-

• Taking, drafting and proofreading witness statements
• Investigating the merits of legal claims and reporting to the Legal Officer or Senior Legal Officer concerned
• Manage caseloads and, in conjunction with lawyers and support staff within the department, work as part of the regulatory law team and the wider Legal Department
• Ensure the delivery of quality and cost effective legal services to members, demonstrating the efficient use of resources, in accordance with the terms of membership contract, professional standards and and departmental strategic objectives

What the Paralegal will bring to the team:-

• Law degree or equivalent legal experience
• Experience of gathering information and presenting it in an understandable format
• High level expertise in an accounting software packages
• Ability to draft correspondence, selecting and interpreting information
• Health sector experience

Benefits:

• Monday to Friday with no weekends
• �20.16 per hour.
• Office based in a Central London office
