\nOur Client , a winner of BALI Employer of the Year, has a great new opportunity for a Parks Infrastructure Team Leader to join their team in Kingston Upon Thames. They maintain the parks and open spaces and social housing estates in the Royal Borough of Kingston-upon-Thames.

\nRequirements:
\nPractical qualifications such as NVQ Level 2 in carpentry, plumbing, etc, and hold at least 2 years of experience in a similar field.
\nA confident person who can display good people management skills.
\nAdaptable to different working techniques with a strong work ethic.
\nExperienced using a wide variety of small engine machinery.
\nA strong understanding and commitment to health & safety.
\nA full UK driver's licence is required, the ability to tow is desirable.
\nRPII Play Inspector qualification is desirable
\nReliable and conscientious and able to work on their own initiative.
\nA Glimpse into the Role awaiting You
\nResponsible for the day-to-day implementation of reactive and planned maintenance jobs, liaising with different suppliers, obtaining quotations, organising materials, repairing, and maintaining parks infrastructure (e.g., play equipment, paths, benches, fences, park buildings, etc.).
\nTaking responsibility for the works on site, including timekeeping, productivity arrangements for breaks, dealing with members of the public, visitors to the site and deliveries.
\nProactively leading by example, motivating and guiding the team and maintaining workforce discipline.
\nOperating and ensuring others operate company and hire vehicles, machinery and equipment with care and that daily checks and routine servicing are carried and properly recorded.
\nThis is a hands-on position, and the successful candidate will be required to set time frames and quality expectations and lead by example.
