Part 2 Architect

We are an award-winning multi-disciplinary Architectural practice specializing in large-scale residential development projects nationwide. Our recently opened regional office in Guildford is seeking a Part 2 Architectural Assistant.

You will work within a newly established and rapidly growing office based in Guildford. While primarily based in Guildford, you will be expected to travel for meetings and site visits.

Reporting to one of our Associate/Architects, you will assist with various aspects of large-scale residential developments. This includes preparing Vision Documents, Design and Access Statements, and Outline and Full Planning applications for sites typically ranging from 5 to 250 new homes.

Our clientele includes National and regional House Builders, Developers, and SMEs, often working to tight deadlines.

Key skills required:

� Bachelor's or Master's degree in architecture or a closely related field � Experience in larger scale residential projects (desirable) � Previous experience in a residentially focused Architectural Practice (advantageous) � Willingness to work collaboratively � Ability to work on housing/residential projects of varying scales � Working knowledge of current planning legislation � Full UK Driving License

Proficiency in the following software is required:

• AutoCAD


• Sketch Up


• Photoshop


• InDesign


• Microsoft Office


• Freehand drawing ability (desirable)

This position is primarily office-based, with the potential for one day a week working from home after a successful probationary period.
