Part time hours Monday to Friday/ 20hours

Fixed term contract 12 months

Salary £26530 to £29114 FTE

Our client is the NHS Crawley. The part time role is responsible for the delivery of a cost effective, efficient, and responsive financial accounting services to the Trust. You will be part of the centralised corporate finance function which incorporates financial accounting, planning, and reporting services.

\n

Key Responsibilities:

\n

This is a key role and is a member of the technical accounting team of the Finance Department. You will take responsibility for supporting the development and performance of the corporate finance team by ensuring the delivery of a professional, dynamic, efficient, and proactive service to meet the needs of the Trust. You will be responsible for the key areas including:

  • Treasury and cash management
  • \n
  • General ledger
  • \n
  • Reporting
  • \n
  • Governance and control
  • \n
  • Internal and external audit
  • \n
  • Providing advice and support
  • \n
  • Policies and procedures
  • \n

Key skills required:

\n
    \n
  • Educated to Level 4 (e.g. AAT level 4, NVQ 4) or equivalent work experience
  • \n
  • Evidence of continuing professional development App/I Knowledge
  • \n
  • Computer literate to intermediate level
  • \n
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • \n
  • Analytical skills with the ability to apply expertise and utilise technology
  • \n
  • Able to communicate with client organisations, outside agencies and the general public in a courteous and dignified manner
  • \n
  • Able to use own initiative and to work to tight deadlines
  • \n
