Part Time Financial Accountant

You will be working as part of a busy team, responsible for delivering monthly financial accounts, annual statutory accounts, and the management of audit activities, whilst aiding in the creation and maintenance of a robust project governance and control environment, and a culture of continuous improvement.

Your role:

• Budgeting (short term) and strategic planning (medium term)


• Monthly rolling forecasting across P&L, Balance sheet, and Cash flow


• Flash and Actual reporting of actual results monthly for management and financial accounting purposes


• Fixed asset accounting and reporting of all capital expenditure also including accounting for IFRS 16 leased assets


• Tax accounting and monthly reporting across direct and indirect taxes


• Monitoring travel expenditure and administration of staff expense claim reimbursement


• Ensuring that financial processes and controls operate effectively


• Involvement in statutory audit requirements


• Assisting in the preparation of annual statutory financial statements

Your background:

• Experience is key - previous financial accounting experience is essential


• Qualified ACCA, ACA, or CIMA


• Relevant financial accounting experience including statutory financial statements and tax


• Experience in management accounting, budgeting, and forecasting activities


• Excellent IT skills including SAP and MS Office


• Desirable - manufacturing experience


• Happy to work a part time role - 25 hours per week

Your rewards:

• Salary range �33,000 - �36,000 for 25 hours per week
