Part Time Gardner Supervisor

Part Time Gardner Supervisor - Streatham - Immediate start - Training provided

Are you an experienced Gardner looking for part time work in the South London area?

Are you looking to work with an leading employer in an excellent setting?

Our leading Property & Estates Management client are seeking to hire a new Part Time Gardner to work withing a high end residential development near Streatham. Working within the site maintenance team, you will play a key role in making sure the grounds and garden's remain smart, well maintained and safe for use.

  • Monday to Friday 8am - 12pm (20 hours per week)
  • �16ph + Holiday and benefits
  • Excellent company and on site colleagues
  • Full training and equipment will be provided
  • 6 month contract with potential for permanent

Duties include:

  • Maintaining lawns and flower beds, also plant cultivation using gardening implements as required.
  • General grounds maintenance including maintaining composters, weeding, digging, bed preparation and seeding.
  • Helping with general internal and external building maintenance including basic painting
  • Use of machinery and ladders for grounds and building maintenance where required.
  • Supporting the manager to supervise team members
  • General estate caretaking and porterage duties as and when required.
  • Helping assist estate team to cover duties whilst colleagues are on leave (can include cleaning).
  • Helping to supervise estate team when Estate Manager is on leave.

Experience Needed:

  • Previous experience with garden maintenance.
  • Able to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to work with vulnerable adults, experience preferred but not essential.
  • Awareness and ongoing adherence to all relevant H&S regulations
  • Some level of supervisor or team leader experience
