Part-time Live-out Housekeeper/Cook | 25 hours per week Location | Tisbury, Wiltshire Salary | Up to £25 per hour Overview A family in Tisbury, Wiltshire, is seeking an experienced and reliable Part-time, Live-out Housekeeper/Cook to help keep their home clean, organised, and running smoothly.
With three children and two friendly dogs, the ideal candidate will be child and pet-friendly, energetic, highly organised, and proactive in managing household tasks.
This part-time position offers 25 hours per week.
Job duties General housekeeping: cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, and mopping
Laundry and ironing, ensuring proper care of clothing and linens
Tidying and organising living spaces, including childrens bedrooms and play areas
Cleaning and sanitising kitchens and bathrooms
Basic pet care if required
Preparing and cooking family style meals (mum tends to eat what the children have), and preparing meals for the weekend to be left in fridge
Monitoring household supplies and reporting any maintenance issues
Candidate must/be have: Previous experience as a housekeeper/cook, ideally within a private household / family setting
Child and pet-friendly, with the ability to manage a busy household environment
Strong attention to detail and self-motivated
Trustworthy, reliable, and punctual
Excellent communication skills
Right to work in the UK
Live within a 30-minute commute to Tisbury
A full, valid driving licence
Accommodation As this is a live-out position, no accommodation is provided.
Hours 25 hours per week, with flexibility available around exact days and hours (to be discussed at interview).
Location Tisbury, Wiltshire.
Salary Up to £25 per hour.
