A lovely, welcoming, one-form-entry, Church of England primary school in Wandsworth are looking for an experienced Primary Teacher to join their team from September on a part-time basis one day per week. 


The Role


In this role you will be a part-time class teacher in a mixed Year 4/5 class. This is for one day per week, ideally a Wednesday but flexibility is offered as long as the day is consistent, to cover the Deputy Head. As a one-form-entry school you will be responsible for your class but will have support from the other teachers across KS2 and the senior leadership team.  The curriculum is creative and varied and encourages individual learning and personal growth. As the class teacher is currently out of class on this day due to management cover, the vacancy will continue for the year, one day a week. There are pupils with SEND and EAL in the class, so experience of providing additional support and differentiation is desirable.


The school are looking for a Primary Teacher who:



  • has good knowledge and experience teaching the KS2 curriculum

  • has excellent classroom management skills

  • has experience supporting pupils with SEND

  • is organised and hardworking;

  • is creative, flexible and committed
