Part Time Legal Cashier

Hours 9-5.00pm Monday to Wednesday
Hybrid working - 2 days in the office, 1 day from home

Our client is an established law firm in Leeds City Centre and they are looking for a Legal Cashier to join their team on a part time basis. We are looking for someone with solid legal cashier experience, strong attention to detail and numerical skills and good communication skills.

• The role will involve:
• Legal Cashiering duties ensuring compliance with regulations
• Online banking and bank Reconciliations
• Managing the accounts system
• Supporting in the client billing process - raising bills
• Disbursements
• Client deposits
• Processing payments for clients using credit card
• Cheques and cash banking
• Investigating ledgers
• Managing an inbox - monitoring requests
• Dealing with enquiries - phone, face to face - internally people with queries
• Liaising with fee earners when receiving payments
• Ensuring timely payments of invoices

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years Legal Cashier experience essential
• Able to maintain efficient workload, diary and task management ensuring accuracy and levels of client service expected.
• Be confident at liaising with internal and external stakeholders
• Good IT skills are essential
