Part-Time Music Teacher Wanted in Romford

Position: Part-Time Music Teacher
Days: 2 days per week
Start Date: September 2024
Location: Romford, Essex

About the Role:

Our client, a highly regarded school in Romford with an Ofsted rating of 'Good', is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Music Teacher to join their team on a part-time basis starting in September 2024. This role is perfect for both experienced educators and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who have a passion for music and a commitment to fostering a love for the subject in their students.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Deliver engaging music lessons to students up to Key Stage 4 (KS4).
  • Develop and implement a dynamic music curriculum.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Organise and lead a variety of extra-curricular music activities and clubs.

Candidate Requirements:


  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven ability to teach music up to KS4.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Enthusiasm for music and a passion for teaching.
  • Willingness to engage in extra-curricular activities.
