Our client, a reputable nursery school in Rhoose is currently seeking an enthusiastic School Cook to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis. As a School Cook, you will have the chance to showcase your culinary skills by preparing and cooking meals for students. Temporary contract with the opportunity to go permanent for the right candidate, Part time hours.

Location: Rhoose

Working hours: 08:30-4:30 Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Pay rate: �11.60ph

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals following set recipes and dietary requirements
• Ensure a high standard of food safety and hygiene is maintained at all times
• Monitor food supplies and place orders as required
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to create exciting menus that cater to diverse tastes and dietary needs
• Provide excellent customer service to students
• Prepare work surfaces and keep kitchen to a high standard of cleanliness

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a School Cook or similar role
• Food hygiene safety certification is essential
• Strong knowledge of food hygiene, allergens and safety regulations
• Excellent culinary skills and the ability to create delicious and nutritious meals
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently
