Tradewind Recruitment is looking for a dynamic and caring Part-Time Teaching Assistant to join a wonderful Primary School in the Heaton Chapel area of Stockport.

Position Details:

• Role: Teaching Assistant (Early Years)
• Location: Heaton Chapel, Stockport
• Days: Every Monday and Tuesday
• Start Date: September
• Pay Rate: £85 to £90 per day

About the Role: As a Teaching Assistant in the Early Years department, you will be instrumental in nurturing and supporting the youngest students in their educational journey. Your role will involve:

• Assisting the class teacher in creating a vibrant and engaging learning environment.
• Supporting individual students and small groups with their learning activities.
• Helping to manage classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive, inclusive atmosphere.
• Assisting with the preparation of learning materials and resources.
• Providing care and supervision during playtime and other activities.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with young children, preferably in an educational setting.
• A patient, caring, and enthusiastic approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A commitment to fostering a safe and supportive learning environment.
