Part Time Teaching Assistant

An Outstanding primary school in Salford is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a part time basis. This inclusive and welcoming three-form entry school boasts excellent SEN resources, including a specialist on-site unit and access to therapy services.

You will work closely with a child with Autism on a 1:1 basis, supporting their communication and learning. The school is highly regarded for its supportive staff, professional development opportunities, and strong links to the local community.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide targeted support to pupils with autism needs
• Assist with implementing strategies recommended by speech therapists and SENCO
• Support pupils' learning in class and during small intervention sessions
• Build positive relationships with pupils to enhance their confidence and engagement

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with pupils with SEN, particularly autism needs
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach
• Available Part Time - Mornings only, 5 days a week
• Right to work in the Uk
