Parts Advisor (HGV)
Tamworth
£27,500 – negotiable plus Bonus scheme
44 hours per week
Monday to Friday with rota Saturday work
Use of company vehicle if applicable
Duties:
- Professionally handle incoming calls to promote and secure parts sales.
- Work with suppliers to purchase parts at competitive prices while maintaining stock levels.
- Collaborate with the Branch Manager to meet monthly sales, margin, and contribution targets.
- Contribute to meeting or exceeding head office and local customer service level agreements (SLAs) and KPIs.
- Perform stock cleanses and manage internal transfers efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service to local and national customers to encourage repeat business.
- Help in building a customer base and promoting the truck and trailer services.
- Manage cash and payment systems following company procedures, prioritizing safety.
- Work with the parts team to meet sales and delivery targets, including over-the-counter sales.
- Evaluate local market conditions and identify sales opportunities.
- Comply with health and safety procedures.
- Demonstrate the company's core values in daily work.
- Collaborate with van drivers to ensure timely deliveries.
- Perform additional tasks to ensure smooth branch operations.
