Location: Main Dealer, Newport
Hours: 42.5 hours per week

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Parts Advisor to join a dynamic team at a reputable main dealer in Newport. Requirements:

• Experience: Previous experience as a Parts Advisor in the automotive industry.
• Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of automotive parts and accessories.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer Service: Strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
• Organisation: Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
• IT Skills: Proficiency in using parts catalogues and inventory management systems.
• Team Player: Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex queries.

Responsibilities:

• Inventory Management: Maintain and manage parts inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels.
• Order Processing: Accurately process customer orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Customer Assistance: Assist customers and technicians in identifying required parts and providing product knowledge.
• Vendor Coordination: Liaise with suppliers and vendors to order and track parts.
• Sales: Promote and upsell parts and accessories to customers.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of parts transactions and inventory adjustments.
• Returns: Handle returns and warranty claims in accordance with company policies.
• Reporting: Prepare regular reports on parts usage, sales, and inventory levels.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
