Parts Advisor

Location: Cardiff
Position: Full-time (40 hours per week)
Salary: On-target earnings up to �33,000 + excellent benefits package
Hours: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week
Saturday: 1 in 2 Saturdays, 8am - 1pm (paid at time and a half)

A Main dealership, dedicated to delivering first-class service to our customers. As part of our parts department, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our service and repair teams, as well as providing outstanding service to retail and trade customers. As a Parts Advisor, you will be responsible for managing and supplying the right parts to our workshop technicians and customers. You will ensure the department runs smoothly and efficiently by maintaining accurate stock levels, processing orders, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and supply vehicle parts for the workshop and customers.
• Handle customer inquiries, providing expert advice on parts and availability.
• Maintain stock control and ensure timely replenishment of parts.
• Assist in processing orders, returns, and warranties.
• Work closely with technicians to ensure parts are available for scheduled repairs.
• Ensure accurate documentation and pricing of parts.
• Support retail and trade customers with their parts requirements.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a parts advisor or related role (automotive industry preferred).
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Knowledge of automotive parts and systems (preferred but not essential).
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• A valid UK driving licence.
