Parts Assistant

Parts Assistant - Spider is advertising on behalf of a very successful family run company with over 40 years' experience working in the Commercial vehicle Sector. They are looking to recruit an experienced Parts Assistant to join their team on a permanent full-time basis for our head office in Colchester, Essex .
You will need a positive can-do attitude to work in a busy fast paced environment in a multi franchise business and can adapt to using different systems for different brands. (An understanding of refrigeration would be beneficial to this role).

Competitive Salary: Salary from £24,000 - £26,000 per annum
Hours: Working 8am - 5pm, with 1 hour for lunch, working 5 days per week Monday to Friday

The Parts Assistant will work as part of a busy team, occasionally delivering parts to customers when needed and mobile engineers in the field, and supporting with stock management and stocktake, at our Colchester and Ipswich sites.
Other duties include:
Receiving / unloading deliveries
Picking and packing parts orders ready for despatch via TNT
Taking parts orders via telephone and email
Managing disposal of waste stream (oil, filters, recyclables)
