Who is KBR FTX Logistics Ltd?
FTX Logistics holds a contract to provide a Heavy Equipment Transport (HET) Service moving heavy armour for the British Army (the client) in the UK and Europe. We are a small thriving Company operating an MoD transport contract located in the Bulford area. What do we need?
We are looking for a forward-thinking candidate who is proactive in supplying parts for the business fleet management plan. You will be able to demonstrate that you share our company values and possess strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Who are you?
The ideal candidate for the Parts Manager role is someone who has several years experience working within a commercial vehicle or plant based environment. The day-to-day role is to manage and oversee the spares process end to end to ensure our Fleet of vehicles meet our readiness and roadworthiness requirements following strict processes to meet compliance criteria. You will be responsible for maximising efficiency and achieving the departmental business plan, based around availability and planning, this position does not link to any sales/profit criteria, it is based solely on stock holding and management. You will be responsible for effectively controlling and maintaining resources, including stocks and equipment, and minimising the risk of financial loss to the company. Attending and presenting quarterly meetings with our client. You will be required to lead and develop your team to create a motivational working environment, aid colleague retention, encourage continuous improvement and promote enhanced performance in colleagues. This is a full-time office-based position working Monday to Friday. Consideration will be given for flexible working arrangements that your work may fit in with your lifestyle.

The ideal candidate's responsibilities include the following:
Stock control for heavy vehicle parts and accessories
Maintaining ordered stock locations
Monitor stock levels and manage re-order process of stock items
Tracking & reporting of department KPIs
Liaison with internal teams to ensure the correct stock is in place at the right time
Maintain stock list pricing on Fleet management system (TRANMAN)
Client and supplier liaison for all spares issues
Requirements:
Essential
Proven experience within Parts Advisor/ Parts Manager role
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Exceptional organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail
Confident, proactive and effective communicator can engage with colleagues at all levels.
Positive approach to adaptable situations using skill, initiative, and experience
Ability to effectively prioritise and deliver to deadlines when required
Good general IT skills Microsoft Office suite, Internet, and data entry with ability to adopt new systems as they are introduced
Ability to engage and learn the use of new software tools to manage the delivery
Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
A self-starter and will tackle tasks head on.
Candidates must be willing and able to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role .
