Parts Supervisor
Location: Nottingham, NG2
Salary: �25,000 - �30,000 per annum
Working Hours: 8AM - 5PM
Our prestigious client is one of the leading distributors for all of the major garden machinery brands in the UK and offer a number of exclusive product ranges. They have been established since 1931 and have a wealth of experience in supplying a broad range of customers from major retailers to smaller independent business.
We're excited to be recruiting for a Parts Supervisor. The right candidate will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the parts department, ensuring the team is effectively utilised and focused on required tasks. The role involves overseeing the goods in operation, handling escalations, and maintaining high standards of inventory management and accuracy.
Parts Supervisor will be reporting directly to the warehouse manager, this role would suit someone who is looking for their next step in to logistics industry and / or their first step within management.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Management:
* Supervise and manage the parts team on a daily basis.
* Assign tasks and ensure team members are working on required activities.
* Provide regular feedback on performance along with coaching to team members.
* Conduct regular team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and updates.
* Foster a positive and productive work environment.
Goods in Operation:
* Oversee the receipt of goods, ensuring all incoming parts are accurately checked, documented, and scanned.
* Handle discrepancies relating to purchase orders.
* Organise and put away stock in the correct locations to maintain an orderly inventory.
* Conduct regular audits of goods received to ensure compliance with company standards.
Inventory Management:
* Conduct regular and accurate stock counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
* Assist in managing inventory levels to ensure stock availability and minimise discrepancies.
* Implement and monitor inventory control procedures to prevent loss and ensure efficiency.
