Looking for a new challenge in passive fire protection? Future Build Recruitment is partnering with a reputable client to find a dedicated Passive Fire Protection Contracts Manager. This role offers the opportunity to lead significant projects in London, ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance in fire safety while working with a dynamic and supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:
Contract Management:
Manage and oversee passive fire protection contracts from inception to completion.
Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Prepare and review contract documents, including tenders, bids, and proposals.
Project Planning and Execution:
Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management.
Coordinate and manage project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Client Communication:
Serve as the point of contact for clients, addressing any concerns and ensuring their needs are met.
Provide regular updates to clients on project progress and any issues that arise.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships to foster repeat business and referrals.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure all passive fire protection works comply with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
Keep abreast of changes in fire safety legislation and implement necessary changes to company practices.
Coordinate with regulatory bodies and participate in inspections and audits as required.
Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of fire protection professionals.
Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the team.
Conduct performance reviews and provide training and development opportunities.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in passive fire protection or a related industry.
Proven track record of successfully managing contracts and projects.
In-depth knowledge of fire safety regulations and standards.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Relevant certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, FPA Fire Protection Certification) are highly desirable.
