Passive Fire Technical Manager

Essex

�45-50K plus package

Our client, a specialist fire protection and core drilling contractor

They require an experienced Passive Fire Technical Manager to provide expert advice on compliant solutions within the fire protection market

Duties will involve but are not limited to:

  • Prepare detailed quotations based on the scope of works.
  • Maintain regular client communication to secure new work and strengthen relationships.
  • Conduct occasional site visits and attend review meetings with clients.
  • Plan, co-ordinate and execute projects from inception to completion.
  • Develop project schedules and allocate resources effectively.
  • Oversee the successful delivery of projects, ensuring quality and compliance.
  • Supervise operatives and subcontractors, ensuring productivity, safety, professionalism and regulatory compliance.
  • Monitor health and safety standards throughout the project life-cycle.
  • Track project costs to ensure budget adherence.
  • Ensure the successful completion of projects, meeting client expectations and quality standards.
  • Finalise projects by compiling supporting documentation and necessary certification.
  • Stay updated on industry standards and best practices related to fire safety.

Job requirements:

  • Minimum level of qualifications IFE Passive Fire Protection Level 2
  • Proven experience in firestopping NVQ Level 2 (essential) and fire doors
  • Knowledge of BWIC
  • Knowledge of the BM Trada and LPCB accredited schemes or industry equivalent.
  • Competency in Excel and industry recognised digital applications. Eg. One-trace, Bolster.
  • IOSH or NEBOSH preferable.
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members and clients.
  • Work to deadlines and the ability to run multiple projects at the same time.
