Pastry Chef De Partie Key Responsibilities:
Create and prepare a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods
Ensure the pastry section operates efficiently, maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and compliance with food safety regulations
Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop new recipes and menu items
Manage inventory and order supplies while minimizing waste
Mentor and support junior staff in the pastry kitchen
Pastry Chef De Partie Ideal Candidate:
Proven experience as a Pastry Chef De Partie, ideally within a rosette-level establishment, although this is not essential
A passion for pastry arts with a creative flair and attention to detail
Strong organizational and time management skills, capable of managing multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment
Excellent understanding of baking techniques and the science behind pastry and desserts
Professional culinary qualifications, with a special focus on pastry and baking
