Our client, a global law firm is seeking a Senior Patent Associate to join its esteemed Patents & Innovation Group. Specialising in both contentious and non-contentious patent matters, the team provides advice to knowledge-intensive and technologically advanced industries such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, chemicals, medical devices, automotive, telecoms, electronics, and software. As a SeniorPatent Associate, the primary focus will be on contentious patent litigation, including High Court cases and pre-action advisory roles, with potential involvement in multi-jurisdictional disputes. The group has a track record of handling landmark cases, offering the chance to engage in high-profile work. For those with the right expertise, there is also scope to delve into non-contentious matters, including drafting agreements, regulatory advice, and transactional support. The successful candidate will be a qualified solicitor with at least 3 years PQE, ideally with a scientific background with at Patent Litigation experience. The role demands self-motivation, the ability to collaborate effectively, and a commercial mindset with a flair for business development. The firm offers hybrid working, opportunity to work remotely, with the firm desiring at least 3 days in the office per week.
