Our client is a leading Intellectual Property firm with a strong reputation for providing expert IP services to a diverse client base. They work closely with SMEs, startups, and multinational corporations across a wide range of industries, particularly within the physical sciences - including automotive, high-end audio, and cutting-edge engineering.
Our client is looking for a part-qualified or qualified Patent Attorney with a specialism in physics-related innovations to join the team. Responsibilities but not limited to:-
Prepare and manage patent applications for physics-related innovations across various industries.
Independently handle a range of client accounts, providing strategic IP advice.
Advise clients on patentability, freedom-to-operate, and enforcement strategies.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, attending industry events as needed.
Stay up to date with IP laws, regulations, and emerging industry trends.
Skills and Experience

A part-qualified or fully qualified Patent Attorney (CIPA or EQE finals candidates welcome).
A strong academic background in Physics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience handling patents within the physical sciences-automotive, mechanical, or high-tech innovations.
A commercially minded approach, capable of managing client portfolios with independence.
A proactive individual who enjoys networking and business development.

Competitive Salary qualified 75k 95k and part qualified 55k-65k
Flexible Working- Office-based with hybrid working options.
Training and support for professional exams (CIPA/EQE finals).
