Position: Client Payroll Administrator
Salary: Competitive and negotiable up to £30,000
Location: Leicester City
My client is a leading independent accountancy practice based in Leicester city and they currently have a vacancy for an experienced Client Payroll Administrator.

Duties of a payroll administrator in Leicester:
You will work closely with a mix of clients processing their weekly and monthly payroll, advising on improvements and offering exemplary service levels.
* Inputting and importing payroll data, setting up new starters, calculating payments, running reports
* Checking figures calculated by the software to ensure that the correct PAYE/NI etc. have been deducted
* Processing payslips and submitting RTI reports to HMRC and adhering to RTI compliance
* Complying with TPR (The Pensions Regulator) requirements including making the submissions to pension companies and TPR
* Speaking with clients on the phone and in person
* Completing the payroll tasks on time and in budget
* Processing payments to employees
* Liaising with internal departments
Payroll administrator in Leicester experience and skills needed:
* A minimum of 12 months Client Payroll experience gained within a financial services company or Payroll Bureau
* A strong working knowledge of Sage and/or Xero payroll software
* Experience and a thorough understanding of RTI (Real Time Information for PAYE) and TPR (The Pension Regulator) compliance
* Knowledge and experience of Auto Enrolment
* Understanding of all Statutory Payments including Shared Parental pay and leave
* PC Literate with excellent verbal and written skills
* Up to date with the latest payroll legislation
* A team player who will assist colleague as needed
* Strong time management and able to work to tight deadlines
* Analytical with an eye for detail
* An excellent communicator with great numerical and verbal skills
