A client of ours in in Sudbury, Suffolk is seeking an Immediate detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to assist with payroll administration for multiple clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely payments.
This is a temporary - permanent position paying �25,000 - �30,000 per annum depending on experience.
Working Monday - Thursday 9:00-5:30 (1 hour lunch) and Friday 9:00-5:00 (1 hour lunch).
Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly) for clients.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and pension regulations.
- Maintain payroll records and process employee changes.
- Handle payroll tax filings and reconciliations.
- Process and upload pension contributions accurately and in a timely manner in line with pension scheme requirements.
- Assist clients with payroll inquiries.
- Construction industry scheme (CIS) returns.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience in payroll processing, preferably in an accounting firm.
- Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Xero, BrightPay).
- Strong knowledge of payroll laws and tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
Education & Experience:
- 3+ years of payroll experience; CIPP certification is a plus.
