JGA Recruitment is partnering with a thriving and fast-growing business in Colchester that’s looking to welcome an experienced
Payroll Administrator to their friendly and supportive team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in payroll who thrives in a client-focused environment and is ready to take ownership of end-to-end payroll processes.
What you’ll be doing: - Running full-cycle client payrolls across diverse sectors with precision and efficiency.
- Maintaining accurate payroll records and ensuring full compliance with RTI and individual client requirements.
- Responding to client queries regarding payroll, statutory deductions, benefits, and expenses.
- Managing BACS payments, auto-enrolment pensions, and statutory payments (e.g. student loans, SMP).
- Issuing P45s, P60s, and payroll journals in line with HMRC guidelines.
- Acting as the go-to contact for clients on all payroll-related matters.
What we’re looking for: - Proven experience in payroll administration, ideally within a client-focused or bureau setting.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
