Description
As a Payroll Manager, your main duties and responsibilities will include the following:
- Managing a small team of approx 10 payroll staff
- Providing training and development to the team of staff ensuring they all work efficiently
- Managing the entire end to end payroll process for thousands of employees
- Dealing with P11Ds, P60s, P45s etc, ensuring these are all sent out to relevant staff
- Dealing with complex payroll queries and any escalations that the team need supporting with
- Ensuring correct payroll laws and legislations are followed at all times
- Many other adhoc payroll responsibilities
Profile
The successful Payroll Manager would have the following attributes:
- Experience working in a similar role previously
- Be CIPP qualified
- A very high attention to detail and very organised
- A detailed knowledge / understanding of payroll laws and legislations
