Location: Lincoln
Salary: circa £50,000 + bonus

The role of the Payroll Manager
Management of the Payroll Team, ensuring effective and accurate delivery of 2-weekly and monthly payroll, including reporting
Ensure compliance with all payroll regulations e.g. Tax/HMRC
Year End processes; ensure all year end processes are complete e.g. holiday, tax
Administration of the pension scheme
Contribute to research and recommendation for the annual Remuneration Committee/Pay Review process
Ensure effective communication with regards to pay across all sites
Produce regular or ad hoc data & reports as required or requested
Provide contingency cover for 2-weekly and salary payroll processes
Continuously evaluate and improve payroll systems and processes
The ideal candidate for the role of payroll Manager
Member of CIPP
Proven experience in a payroll function in a multi-site environment
Able to work autonomously to deadlines
Accurate & attentive to the detail
Experience of developing and implementing payroll software
Experience developing pay strategy
People management experience
