Your responsibilities will include:

  • Start-to-Finish Payroll Processing
  • Benefits & P11Ds - Overseeing benefits administration, including salary sacrifice schemes and taxable benefits, while preparing annual P11D submissions.
  • Audit & Compliance - Supporting internal and external audits, ensuring payroll processes meet legislative requirements, and driving continuous improvements.
  • System Maintenance & Updates - Ensuring payroll systems remain up to date, troubleshooting technical issues, and working on system enhancements.
  • Collaboration & Support - Acting as a key point of contact for payroll queries, working closely with HR, finance, and external providers to maintain a seamless payroll function.

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • Strong experience in payroll processing, ideally within a complex or multi-entity environment.
  • Knowledge of benefits administration, including pensions, salary sacrifice, and taxable benefits.
  • A solid understanding of statutory payroll legislation, tax codes, and P11Ds.
  • Experience supporting payroll audits and working to improve payroll controls and processes.
  • Technical aptitude for payroll system maintenance and updates, with the ability to troubleshoot and enhance functionality.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise confidently across departments.

What's in it for You?

  • Fully remote role with flexibility - 1 day a month on site
  • A supportive, values-driven organisation.
  • Exposure to broader payroll functions beyond processing.
  • The chance to develop and refine payroll systems and processes.
  • This is a confidential opportunity, and further details will be provided upon application. If you are looking for a role that offers both responsibility and room for development, we'd love to hear from you.
