We are excited to be working with an established, progressive, and multifunctional business based in Warwick. This company are experts in their field and pride themselves on a providing bespoke services to their existing and rapidly growing international client base. We are supporting with their search for a proactive and confident Payroll Supervisor to join their supportive, fast paced team. This role will give you the opportunity to both expand and share your knowledge, build lasting relationships and support with future business growth. You'll be at the forefront of payroll delivery and relationship management for a diverse portfolio of clients.
This role comes with an annual salary of up to �44,000.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting with the development and day to day running of the payroll team and department.
  • Processing end to end payroll; weekly, bi-weekly and monthly - including bonus, commission, SMP, SSP, pensions etc.
  • Producing P45, P60 and year end accounts.
  • Processing of benefits (payroll and/or P11D).
  • Advising on and applying for PSA's.
  • Dealing with HMRC compliance and related matters.
  • Tailoring payroll setups for new clients according to their unique requirements.
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring exceptional customer service at all times.
  • Supporting the ongoing development of process, controls and systems.
  • Taking on ad hoc payroll projects.
  • Keeping up to date with payroll legislation and sharing technical knowledge within the team and business.

Candidate Skills, Knowledge and Attributes :

  • Minimum four years' experience in payroll with a strong knowledge and understanding of how payroll tax and national insurance, as well as statutory pay are calculated.
  • Ability to build sustainable working relationships both internally and externally and confidently communicate with both clients and colleagues across departments.
  • Proactive, confident and able to solve problems effectively and drive change.
  • Ability to work within a team while being self-motivated and able to work on your initiative.
  • Accurate with a high attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Up to date with legislation and current payroll best practice.
  • Understand salary sacrifice rules.
  • Strong knowledge of Benefit in Kind rules and reporting requirements.
  • Familiarity with PAYE Settlement Agreements (PSA).
  • Previous experience in a payroll bureau is desirable.
