PCB Test Engineer

Jackson Hogg are delighted to be supporting a well-known manufacturer who are looking to recruit a PCB Test Engineer. Reporting into the Head of Manufacturing, the Test Engineer role will play a key role in supporting production while strengthening the company supply chain.�

Key Responsibilities�

• Support the Senior Test Development Engineer


• Liaise with both PCBA suppliers and internal supply chain�testing equipment (including occasional supplier visits)


• Monitor tests failures, diagnose and drive countermeasures


• Update test specs, test limits and test software


• Support transition to new suppliers, the evaluation of sample boards & final sign-off


• Maintain and update testing equipment and fixtures


• Produce requirements for test equipment suppliers


• Report writing


• Support production processes as required


• Continuous improvement of testing & production processes

Key Skills & Experience

• PCB�manufacturing experience


• Good test software skills


• Experience updating LabVIEW and/or TestStand software is essential


• Basic mechanical skills


• Able to communicate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels


• Current UK Driving License
